Jessica Hidalgo Holland, LMHC

Mental Health Therapist
Trained in Trauma-Informed Therapy

Hi, I’m Jessica, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by nearly two decades of work in trauma healing, community advocacy, and nonprofit leadership. I bring a warm, collaborative approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that healing should honor the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

I support adults and teens navigating grief, anxiety, childhood trauma, and identity shifts. My style blends evidence-based practices with culturally rooted and somatic approaches, always centering your values, creativity, and inner wisdom. I hold a Master’s in Counseling and a certificate in Grief, Loss, and Trauma from Southwestern College.

Before entering clinical work, I spent more than 15 years in social change and community-based roles, including serving as Director of the Women’s Resource Center at UNM and as a board member of Albuquerque SANE. That experience continues to shape how I show up in the therapy room—with deep respect for resilience, a commitment to collective healing, and a focus on helping you feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Originally from Massachusetts, I’ve called New Mexico home since 2009. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me caring for my rescue dogs, collecting pottery, or spending time in nature.
