Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapeutic treatment that helps people learn how to identify and change the destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on their behavior and emotions.

Gottman Method

The Gottman Method is a type of couples therapy developed by Dr. John Gottman and Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman. Interventions used in the Gottman Method are research-based and grounded in the Sound Relationship House theory, which specifies nine elements of a healthy relationship.


Attachment therapy is a type of therapy that fosters healing by focusing on trust and the ability to create deep and meaningful connections. It’s rooted in the ideas based on attachment theory, which acknowledges how childhood experiences can significantly impact future relationships.   


Mindfulness is being aware of internal thoughts, feelings, and emotions, as well as external surroundings and situations, without automatic responses such as judgment or stress. Mindfulness therapy is a type of talk therapy that focuses on learning how to be more aware and to reduce automatic responses.

Nurtured Heart

The Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA) is described as a means to support and nourish relationships whether it is being applied to children or adults. It focuses on the relationship between the child/student and the significant adult to energize positive, build inner wealth and capability in each, and diminish any attention or energy to negative choices. When a child has developed “ inner wealth ” they begin to make choices based on their character strengths, virtues and values. This allows the child to become strong on the inside, so that outside influences will be less likely to permeate his/her judgment.

Family Systems

Family systems therapy is a form of psychotherapy that helps individuals resolve their problems in the context of their family units, where many problems are likely to begin. Each family member works together with the others to better understand their group dynamic and how their individual actions affect each other and the family unit as a whole. One of the most important premises of family systems therapy is that what happens to one member of a family happens to everyone in the family.

Art Interventions

In expressive arts therapy, each client is encouraged to use multiple forms of creative expression to articulate their inner world, including drawing and painting, photography, sculptures using a range of materials from clay to paper mâché, music, drama and role-play, poetry, prose, and dance and movement.

Music Interventions

Music therapy draws on the power of music in a therapeutic relationship to manage a range of conditions and improve your quality of life. A music therapist tailors sessions to your needs. You may sing or play instruments, listen to music or discuss the meaning of lyrics. You don’t need musical skills, and people of all ages can benefit.
