Rochelle Robertson,
LMHC
Mental Health Therapist
Hello, I’m Rochelle Robertson, and I’m proud to call Albuquerque my lifelong home. My journey began in the world of music — I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cello Performance from the University of New Mexico in 2006. Music has always been a powerful part of my life, and for over 20 years, I’ve had the joy of teaching private cello lessons to people of all ages. Through those experiences, I discovered how deeply I value connection, support, and helping others grow.
That passion led me to pursue a master’s degree in Counseling at Webster University, where I graduated in 2010. Today, I’m a licensed mental health counselor with specialized experience supporting children and families in crisis, including work as an MST-certified therapist. These experiences have shaped my commitment to meeting every person exactly where they are.
I believe that every individual is unique — which means every therapeutic journey will be unique as well. Patience, understanding, and genuine curiosity guide my work. I take the time to truly get to know my clients, understand their stories, and collaboratively create a therapeutic plan that fits their needs and goals. My approach includes Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Therapy, all of which help clients deepen self-understanding, build confidence, and access their strengths.
Outside of my professional life, I’m a devoted mom to two wonderful kids — my 11-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son — who bring so much joy to my life. I love spending time with family and friends, staying active, and, of course, playing my beloved cello whenever I can.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your path toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.
